Monday mornings

Last night I stayed up to late again but in my mind it was kinda worth it . One of my favorite movies was on "Pay it forward" I just love that movie the way I feel after watching just huge warmth to my heart. So it got my start thinking ( not always a good idea at times)about what I can do to help the world around me. I came up with a few so far and they go like this. 1 I will go out of my way just to see how someone is doing 2 talk to them and care for what their needs might be. 3 will pray for them and pass on a few good words that come to mind.
Other goal I have started on Sunday is to meet five new people at New Song a week, it worked so far and next I'll meet five new people too, so that nobody will stranger. Also just to help where I can would is at home first then the rest of the world one person at a time. Well that enough of me for one day. Go out tonight and have some fun ....

what she said (wow)

I'm with Wow on the whole weight loss thing. Granted I have the body of a god "budda" and am in great shape "a circle". I need to do more. My biggest thing is my girl friend " Little Debi" she is everywhere and for 4 for $1 she is a darn good time, then there is the vending machine at school and at work , it draws me to like a bug to bug zapper its evil machine, cookies, chips, cakes, and candy bars..but this I will over come. I have been going to the gym 3 to 4 days a week for about an hour to an hourand half at a time its helping.so that my thought of my day other than its cold, but still no snow. have a great blessed day

life altering changes

On Friday marks an anniversary for me. No it’s not Melissa’s and mine wedding
anniversary. It marks the three year mark of falling and breaking a vertebra in my back. And that got me to start to think about some of the most life altering changes in my life.
That’s goes like this
Marrying Melissa
Having kids with Melissa
Going to church and belonging to our church
Breaking my back
Joining the Navy
Buying and building our first home

Which lead me to more thinking that 4 out 6 in that list haves to do with my wife. Even our dog was her idea she wanted a dog I did not and now he is my dog that was to be her dog and he loves me more. So when was hurt she was the one who was there to help out of bed and moved through out our house and help to recover. And for that I’m truly blessed for having a wonderful wife and kids and great church family

Men's night out

Saturday evening a few of us went to a great dinner and a good movie ( I was golf fan it would have been an outstanding movie) I was good time and great fellowship time also . But the evening had to end and I had a good hour drive back home to Brooklyn, I was lucky or unlucky to follow this H2 Hummer home until it turned in Clinton, this was driving about 51 MPH down US 12 I know that they doing construction so I was not trying to tailgate , but the problem grew bigger as this car had a TV in the back facing the rear and I could see this, So I kept finding myself creeping towards this car and tailgating this car . If I don't have a hard enough trying to pay attention for deer I had this TV to look at what is one to do. So I was forced to slow down and enjoy the nice cool air as drove home to find my wife and kids quietly sleeping into the night and it was great day for all.
