I’m kind of taking one of Russ ideas and running with it alittle bit. Last week I was pumping gas into our van and I started getting upset on how long it was taking to pump gas into the tank it was just taking what seemed like forever, the price of gas is another story we are all going to drive and all buy gas its like getting older and there is not a darn thing we can do at this time. But back to my original thought why did I get mad because I had to stand outside the van for a few extra minutes, was I missing something more importation going on with my life. Why are so busy at doing nothing. We run from place to place and tailgate the car in front of us, when someone does that to me I just lay off the gas and slow up, hey I just trying to do you favor you just didn’t reason it yet. Another eye open thing happened when Jake (the dog) decided at 3:00am he really need to go the bathroom, being the dog that he is he just can’t walk to one spot and just go, he has to keep circling and looking for the one spot he has never visited before would be my one guess. Which in turn gave me a long over do time to look at the sky and look into the stars something I have done in years not since Melissa and I went camping up in the mountains in Oregon. I forgot how beautiful they are. Still why don’t look around to see this wonderful world the He has given us to use for the short amount of time that we are here. Slow down what the big hurry is the extra few minutes that would gain worth in the long run. This world is here for us created by God. And rest was all part of it too . Go sit in the grass and look into the clouds and try see what they could be, we all did once why not again. be blessed.
Genesis 21 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
