life in a chevy

It seems lately that I have been spending a lot of my time in my truck or van. So I spend most of that time listening to the radio, and boy is there a lot commercial that interrupt good music. I still like to listen to just every type of music out a big part comes from station like K-Love or the Vibe out of Spring Arbor. But even more alarming is the fact that I find more the music I love here is being played on classic rock stations which caught me off guard. Last week I was driving and kept hitting the scan button and came upon two or three songs from Soundgarden (a band form the early to mid 90’s) then those words that was block coming classic rock on Hillsdale classic rock your oldies station for m music.
I AM a classic rocker now. If my truck was a 4X4 could or should have jacked with a free-bird sticker on the back window. What I am I to do now. Grow a mullet if I had hair to grow, wear shirts three sizes to small. Life if full of many decisions to make. May I should just go got Sirius radio or XM and forgot all those stations and remembers I can’t drive 55….

Yea, just imagine being a classic rocker from....the 60's!! Like Cream for example...oh and by the way Soundgarden and Green Day and that are okay too. I liked them particularily during my angry stage back in '94...

Classic Rock is a relative term. I am with Jay, anything after 1980 hasn't earned the "classic" status in my book. I've never even heard of Soundgarden! B4T

Doug, Soundgarden is comparable to Pearl Jam which I know you think is the devil, so I'm sure you wouldn't care for it. :)
